Mahindra & Mahindra, in collaboration with Warner Bros., has launched a special Batman-themed edition of their electric SUV, the BE 6 Dark. This unique vehicle incorporates design cues and features drawn from the Batman comics and films, setting it apart from standard dark-themed models. The limited production run makes it a collector’s item, blending automotive innovation with iconic superhero branding.
Bookings for the exclusive BE 6 Batman Edition will begin on August 23rd, with deliveries starting on September 20th, coinciding with Batman Day. Only 300 units will be available, making it a rare offering. The ex-showroom price is ₹27.79 lakh, providing a unique option for those seeking a superhero-themed SUV.
Key design features include a satin black body color, Batman decals on the front doors, a Dark Knight badge on the tailgate, and Batman logos on the fenders, bumpers, and reverse lamps. It rides on 19-inch wheels, with a 20-inch option available. The hub caps also feature the Batman logo. The brakes and springs are finished in Alchemy Gold paint. The infinity roof features the Dark Knight trilogy symbol, and the interior boasts a Night Trail carpet with a Batman logo projection.
The interior features a dashboard with a brushed Alchemy plate displaying the edition number, a gold frame around the driver’s cockpit, and suede and leather seats with gold accents. The Dark Knight trilogy badging is present, along with pinstripe graphics and branding on the dashboard. The Batman logo is prominently displayed on the steering wheel, controller, EPB, and key fob.
The BE 6 Batman Edition is based on the Pack Three variant and features a 79 kWh battery pack, providing a range of 682 km per charge according to ARAI. It is a rear-wheel-drive SUV with a powerful motor in the rear axle, generating 286 hp and 380 Nm of torque.
