Hero MotoCorp has launched a new single-seat variant of the Xtreme 125R, bolstering its presence in the 125cc motorcycle market. This follows the introduction of the Glamour X, a 125cc motorcycle with cruise control. The new single-seat model is priced at ₹1 lakh, positioned between the split-seat IBS variant (₹98,425) and the split-seat ABS version (₹1.02 lakh).
The Xtreme 125R competes with other Hero models within the 125cc segment, including the Glamour, Glamour X, Glamour XTEC, and Super Splendor XTEC. Its sporty design sets it apart. The new single-seat setup prioritizes rider comfort. The engine specifications remain the same: a 124.7cc single-cylinder engine producing 11.4 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 10.5 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm, coupled with a 5-speed gearbox. This variant offers a cost-effective solution for those who seek comfort. Safety features include single-channel ABS and an attractive design, complete with a sporty fuel tank and LED headlights.
