Hero MotoCorp is implementing an aggressive product strategy to increase sales and plans to launch several models with updated features. The brand recently unveiled a teaser for a new motorcycle, scheduled to launch on August 19-20, 2025. The company has not yet disclosed the name of this new 125cc motorcycle. Hero MotoCorp already has the Super Splendor, Glamour, and Xtreme 125R in the 125cc segment. The new launch is anticipated to be an updated version of an existing model, potentially the Glamour 125. Spy shots of the updated Hero Glamour have surfaced, highlighting a key feature not commonly found in commuter bikes: cruise control. This integration of cruise control represents a significant advancement for Hero MotoCorp, positioning it as a leader in the commuter segment. Cruise control enables riders to maintain a constant speed without manipulating the throttle, enhancing comfort and convenience. The cruise control button is positioned near the ignition, and the left switchgear incorporates new buttons for navigation on the LCD instrument panel, similar to those found in the Karizma XMR 210 and Xtreme 250R. The Hero Glamour is currently priced from ₹95,098 ex-showroom and offers both Standard and Xtec variants. It is powered by a 124.7 CC air-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 10.3 bhp and 10.4 nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox, achieving a mileage of up to 65 kmpl. The new model is anticipated to retain these specifications. The cruise control feature is likely to be included in the top-spec Xtec variant. The pricing of the new model, incorporating cruise control, remains to be seen.
