This new model brings a more premium feel to the Hero Glamour family, while the original Glamour remains in production. The Hero Glamour, known for its practicality, now has a sibling that offers a more contemporary aesthetic. The Glamour X showcases an H-shaped headlight, a shorter visor, an ‘X’ badging, and an overall enhanced body design for a more sporty look.
Technological Features
While both bikes fulfill the basic needs of a commuter, the Glamour X significantly upgrades the technology. It features a digital display with Bluetooth connectivity, navigation support, and adjustable brightness. One standout feature is the inclusion of cruise control, a first for the 125cc commuter motorcycle segment in India, along with ride-by-wire technology and selectable ride modes (Eco, Road, Power).
Mechanical Specifications
Both the Glamour and Glamour X share similar underpinnings. They both feature telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The braking systems are available in either disc/drum configuration. 18-inch alloy wheels are also standard across both models.
Engine and Performance
The Glamour is equipped with a 125cc single-cylinder engine delivering 10.68 bhp and 10.4 Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed gearbox. The Glamour X shares the same engine, but it is tuned to generate 11.40 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 10.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.
