Tata Motors is reducing the prices of its cars following the government’s move to cut GST on automobiles. This will allow customers to purchase Tata vehicles for up to ₹1.50 lakh less, with the new prices coming into effect on September 22nd. The biggest price decrease will be seen in the popular Tata Nexon model, which will be approximately ₹1.55 lakh cheaper.
The company stated that the price reductions for passenger vehicles are a move to ensure customers receive the full benefit of the GST cuts. Consequently, Tata cars will be available at reduced prices, ranging from ₹75,000 to ₹1.45 lakh, starting September 22nd. Shailesh Chandra, MD of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, highlighted that Tata Motors is passing on the complete benefit of the GST reduction to its customers, in alignment with the Prime Minister’s vision, the Finance Minister’s guidance, and the company’s customer-focused approach.
