    Following the use of sugarcane and corn, Arunachal Pradesh is preparing to utilize bamboo for ethanol production. The state government, according to Minister Ojing Tasing, will launch the first private 2G ethanol plant in the country, marking a significant stride towards clean energy. The Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Tasing, announced this initiative through social media, following a video conference on ‘Arunachal Pradesh Leading in Sustainable Bio-Industrial Development.’ Tasing highlighted the project as a pivotal step towards a sustainable future for the state, emphasizing its role in India’s clean energy transition. The project demonstrates the state’s commitment to utilizing its natural resources, especially bamboo, to advance its goals. The minister emphasized that this plant will not only foster sustainable industrial practices but also generate fresh economic prospects for local communities.
