Bajaj has introduced a new, budget-friendly version of its Chetak electric scooter: the 3001. The scooter is priced at Rs 99,000. The new variant takes the place of the Chetak 2903 and utilizes the new chassis introduced last year. The Bajaj Chetak 3001 is aimed at providing a cost-effective electric commuting solution.

The Chetak 3001 is powered by a 3 kWh battery, promising a range of 127 km. A 750W charger is included, capable of charging the battery from 0 to 80% in 3 hours. The scooter has the same advanced chassis as the other high-end Bajaj EVs, and has a 35-liter underseat storage space. It also features a color LCD display. Customers can opt for a TecPac which will unlock additional functions such as call capability, music control, guide-me-home lights, hill hold assist, reverse light, and auto flashing tail light.

At a price of Rs 99,990, the Bajaj Chetak 3001 is now the most affordable in the range. The scooter will be available in Red, Yellow, and Blue and deliveries will start soon. The article also presents a detailed comparison of the Chetak 3001 with other popular electric scooters such as the Honda Activa-E, TVS I-Qube, and Suzuki e-Access, including their motor capacity, battery capacity, range, and features.
