In response to recent changes in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) structure, Audi India has implemented price cuts across its model range. This follows similar actions by other major automotive companies in India. The price reductions are a direct consequence of the revised tax framework affecting passenger vehicles.

The price cuts vary by model, with reductions ranging from ₹2.60 lakh to ₹7.80 lakh. Audi India expects these adjustments to stimulate sales, particularly during the upcoming festive season. The tax changes involve modifications to the GST and the removal of the compensation cess previously applied to cars.

Under the former GST system, cars over 4 meters were taxed at 28% plus a compensation cess of 15% to 22%. The new regulations raise the GST to 40% but eliminate the compensation cess, leading to lower overall taxes.

Here are the new prices for some Audi models: The Q3 SUV now starts at ₹43.07 lakh (reduced from ₹46.14 lakh). The A4 starts at ₹46.2 lakh (down from ₹48.89 lakh). The Q7 now has a starting price of ₹86.14 lakh (compared to ₹92.29 lakh). The Q5 is now priced from ₹63.75 lakh (down from ₹68.30 lakh). The A6 starts at ₹63.74 lakh (reduced from ₹67.38 lakh). The Q8 now starts at ₹1.10 crore (previously ₹1.18 crore).

For detailed pricing information on specific Audi models and their variants, customers are advised to consult their nearest Audi India dealership or visit the official Audi India website.
