Are you in the market for a new car this festive season? Consider vehicles equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) for an enhanced driving experience. These systems provide increased safety and ease of driving. Several leading automakers in India, such as Hyundai, Mahindra, Tata, and Honda, are incorporating ADAS features into their models. Here’s a look at some of the top choices.

Maruti Suzuki Victoris: The Victoris, recently launched, is the first Maruti Suzuki car to feature ADAS technology. Level 2 ADAS is available only in the ZXi+ AT trims equipped with the 1.5-liter K15C mild-hybrid engine. It’s not available in the strong hybrid variant. The Victoris with Level 2 ADAS has a starting price of Rs 17.19 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Creta: The Hyundai Creta continues to be a popular choice in the Indian mid-size SUV market. The SX Tech and SX(O) variants come with Level 2 ADAS. The SX Tech offers a 1.5-liter NA petrol engine (MT/IVT) and a 1.5-liter CRDi diesel engine (MT only). The top-spec SX(O) variant provides diesel AT and 1.5-liter tGDi DCT powertrain options. The Hyundai Creta with ADAS starts at Rs 15.69 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra XUV700: Mahindra was an early adopter of ADAS technology, introducing it with the XUV700 in 2021. Level 2 ADAS is available in the AX7 and AX7 L variants. These variants feature a 2.2-liter mHawk diesel and a 2.0-liter mStallion petrol engine, available with manual and automatic transmissions. The AX7 trims start at Rs 18.37 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Harrier: Tata Motors updated the Harrier variant lineup, and now, the Adventure X+ and Fearless X+ trims include ADAS features. The Harrier is powered by a 2.0-liter Kryotec diesel engine, which produces 170 hp and 350 Nm of peak torque, and is paired with 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. The ADAS-equipped Tata Harrier starts at Rs 18.30 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra XUV3XO: The XUV3XO is a well-equipped SUV in the compact segment. The AX5 L and top-spec AX7 L variants include Level 2 ADAS. The AX5 L comes with a 1.2-liter tGDi petrol engine (MT and AT), while the AX7 L offers a 1.5-liter diesel manual powertrain. The Mahindra XUV3XO with ADAS has a starting price of Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
