**Maruti Escudo: A New Competitor in the SUV Segment**

Maruti Suzuki will launch the Escudo, a 5-seater SUV, on September 3, 2025, aimed at competing with the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. The Escudo, to be sold through Maruti Suzuki’s Arena showrooms, is expected to be based on the Grand Vitara, with a CNG variant potentially available.

    **Hyundai Venue: Next-Generation Updates**

The next generation Hyundai Venue is slated for launch on October 24, 2025. The model has been observed during testing and will introduce design and interior updates, potentially including features found in the Creta.

    **Vinfast’s Electric SUV Entry: VF6 and VF7**

Vinfast, a Vietnamese automaker, plans to launch two new electric SUVs, the VF6 and VF7, in India. Bookings are currently open, with local assembly taking place in Tamil Nadu. The VF7 is expected to offer a range exceeding 400 kilometers with a 70.8kWh battery, while the VF6 is also projected to have a similar range with a 59.6kWh battery.
