    It features 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display along with an A17 Pro Chip. Apple says, A17 Pro delivers a huge performance boost for even the most demanding tasks, with a faster CPU and GPU, a 2x faster Neural Engine than the previous-generation iPad mini,1 and support for Apple Intelligence.

    Customers can pre-order the new iPad mini now while it will be available starting October 23. The new iPad mini starts at Rs 49,900 for the Wi-Fi model, and Rs 64,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model. The new iPad mini starts with 128GB of storage — double the storage of the previous generation. The new iPad mini is also available in 256GB and 512GB configurations.   • Trump won’t say if he’s spoken to Putin, but “if I did, it’s a smart thing”

    Former President Donald Trump says he’s not commenting on the question of whether he’s spoken to Russian President Vladimir Putin since he left office, after journalist Bob Woodward reported in his new book that the former president has had as many as seven conversations with the Russian leader.

    At the Economic Club of Chicago Tuesday, Trump, in a conversation with Bloomberg News editor-in-chief John Micklethwait, was asked whether he’d spoken with Putin. Trump first said he had no comment before going on to defend any conversation with Putin, if it had occurred.

    “Well, I don’t comment on that, but I will tell you that, if I did, it’s a smart thing,” Trump said. “If I’m friendly with people, if I have a relationship with people, that’s a good thing, not a bad thing, in terms of a country. He’s got 2,000 nuclear weapons, and so do we. China has a lot less, but they’ll catch us within five years. If I have a relationship, I don’t talk about, I don’t talk about —.”

    “— That sounds like you talk to him,” Micklethwaite said. 

    “No, I don’t talk about that,” Trump replied. “I don’t ever say it, but I can tell you what, Russia has never had a president that they respect so much.”

    Micklethwait asked Trump about his economic plans, but he received no detailed answers. He challenged Trump on the feasibility of the high tariffs he talks about on the campaign trail, noting that he has talked about tariffs as high as 100% or 200% “on things you don’t really like,” as well as 10%-20% for other countries. “That is going to have a serious effect on the overall economy,” Micklethwait said, adding, “the overall effect could be massive.”

    “I agree — it’s going to have a massive effect, positive effect,” Trump replied, before telling Micklethwait, “It must be hard for you to, you know, spend 25 years talking about tariffs as being negative, and then have somebody explain to you that you’re totally wrong.”

    Micklethwait also confronted Trump with an analysis by the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget that estimated his economic plan would cost twice Vice President Kamala Harris’ plan. Trump dismissed criticism of his economic plan by saying his plan is about “growth” and claiming Harris has “got no growth, whatsoever.” 

    Asked if he would commit to a peaceful transfer of power, Trump responded, “I went to Florida, and you had a very peaceful transfer.” And Trump, referring to the Jan. 6, 2021 rioting, claimed, “Not one of those people had a gun. Nobody was killed, except for Ashli Babbitt. She was killed. She was killed. She was shot in the head by a policeman … So, I think we should be allowed to disagree on that.” He went on at length, telling Micklethwait that “lot of strange things happened there, a lot of strange things with people being waved into the Capitol by police, with people screaming, ‘Go in’ with that never got into trouble.” He did not answer the question.

    New Delhi: The initial public offering (IPO) of Hyundai Motor India saw a lukewarm response from investors on Tuesday, with the issue subscribed 0.18 times or 18 per cent on Day 1 of the subscription.  

    The company aims to raise up to Rs 27,870 crore, making it the largest-ever IPO of the Indian equity market history since 2022, when Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) raised Rs 21,000 crore.

    It is open till October 17, and the IPO price band has been fixed at Rs 1,865- Rs 1,960 per share.

    One lot of Hyundai Motor India’s IPO has seven shares. After the subscription window closes, the share allotment is expected to be finalised on October 18. The shares will be credited to demat accounts on October 21.

    Hyundai Motor India shares are likely to debut on stock exchanges on October 22. The maiden share sale will be a full offer for sale (OFS). It is the first offer from an automaker to list in India in over two decades and the entire proceeds will go to the promoter.

    Hyundai Motor India raised approximately Rs 8,315 crore from anchor investors on Monday, ahead of its IPO. The company allotted 4.24 crore shares at Rs 1,960 apiece to 225 anchor investors, according to the company statement.

    Hyundai Motor India held a 14.6 per cent market share in the domestic passenger vehicle (PV) market in Q1 FY25, second to Maruti Suzuki which has a 41 per cent share in this category. However, Hyundai Motor India is the market leader by volume in the mid-size SUV segment with around 38 per cent share as on June 2024.

    It is also India’s second-largest exporter of PV from April 2021 till June this year. In FY 2023-24, the company sold 7.77 lakh vehicles, of which 21 per cent was exported to countries like Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Latin America.

    Hyundai Motor India has 1,366 sales points and 1,550 service outlets in India. The company’s revenue in the financial year (FY) 2023-24 was Rs 69,829 crore. During this period, the company made a profit of Rs 6,060 crore and the company’s margin was 13.1 per cent.

    India’s second-largest carmaker’s revenue in the first quarter of FY 2024-25 was Rs 17,344 crore. During this period, the company made a profit of Rs 1,489 crore and the margin was 13.5 per cent.

    The trailer of the series Citadel: Honey Bunny is reminiscent of the 90s. There will be plenty of thrill, action and stunts in this series. In this series, Varun Dhawan is playing the role of Honey and Samantha Ruth Prabhu is playing the role of Honey. This is the first web series of both of them together.

    It is seen in the trailer that years later, when their dangerous past comes to light, estranged Honey and Bunny must reunite and fight to protect their young daughter. Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be seen in the lead roles in this action-packed thriller directed by the famous duo Raj and DK. It is part of Global Citadel, which featured Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. These days Priyanka is busy shooting for the English version Citadel 2.

    The newspaper outlet report suggests that Swedish cops are currently investigating an alleged rape incident at the Bank Hotel (where Mbappe stayed a night).

    In September, Mbappe got injured and Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti initially described the issue as a “knock,” stating that Mbappe “asked to be substituted to avoid any problems.”

    “Following the tests carried out today on our player Kylian Mbappe by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the femoral biceps of his left leg,” the club announced, as quoted by ESPN.

    Mbappe’s move was highly anticipated from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), as he was officially presented in front of 80,000 spectators at the Santiago Bernabeu. Earlier in June, after years of speculation, Mbappe joined the Spanish club as a free agent.
