‘Enemy’s Psychological Warfare’: Iran Defense Minister On US THAAD System Delivery To Israel | world news
Iranian Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh shrugged off the US delivery of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) anti-ballistic missile defense system to Israel as part of the “enemy’s psychological warfare.” He made the remarks on Wednesday in an address to reporters on the sidelines of a weekly cabinet meeting in Tehran, reports Xinhua, quoting the semi-official Tasnim news agency.
“The THAAD is an anti-ballistic missile system. It is not a new thing and has existed before. We assess such actions as being in line with the enemy’s psychological warfare. There is no particular problem in that regard,” he said. The United States announced on Sunday that it would send its THAAD system to Israel with soldiers to operate it.
The decision comes as Israel has, over the past few days, threatened to take military action against Iran in response to Tehran’s missile strikes on Israel earlier this month. On October 1, Iran fired approximately 180 missiles at Israeli targets.
Tehran described the strikes as retaliation for the assassinations of several leaders of the regional resistance groups and Israel’s military actions against Lebanese and Palestinian armed groups. In response, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that Iran had made a “grave mistake” and vowed retaliation.

The Wing Commander of the Air Force had sent a report to the Collector. Orders issued including one km radius from the Air Force Station. Fragments of metallic bullets have already been found in the operational areas.
Naiduniya Representative, Gwalior: A fire bullet has been found on the south runway of Gwalior Air Terminal adjacent to Maharajpura Air Base. This is a two and a half centimeter long and two centimeter wide bullet. Even before this, fragments of metallic bullets have been found in aircraft operating areas. The Air Force Station has expressed serious concern after the incident of finding metallic fire bullets.
After this bullet was found on October 2, a report was sent to the district administration by the Wing Commander of the Air Force reporting the incident. It was told that there is civilian population around the Runway-6 area station perimeter. This material found in the aircraft operating area is dangerous for humans, aircraft and other materials used in it. In this report, a demand was made to ban harsh fire within a radius of one kilometer from the Air Force station.
In view of this, District Magistrate Ruchika Chauhan issued orders on Wednesday to ban Harsh Fire in the entire revenue limit of the district including one kilometer radius. Let us tell you that pieces of metallic bullets have already been found in the Air Force station premises, information about which was given to the district administration. Earlier too, restrictive orders have been issued by the administration.
The order said that many civilian and military groups conduct their operations here. Most of the villages are located near the new airport terminal and such incidents can pose a threat to human life. On behalf of the Collector, under the powers granted in Section 163 of the Indian Civil Defense Code 2023, in view of the safety of the aircraft and the materials used at the Air Force Station-Civil Airport and the safety of life and property of the citizens of Gwalior along with the military team, Harsh Fire Is completely banned. Despite this restriction, in special circumstances, the decision regarding exemption-relaxation can be taken by the district administration in a specific case.

New Delhi: Sanjeev Sharma, the SpaceX Principal Engineer has gone viral on social media after a tweet on his LinkedIn Profile was circulated and commented widely by netizens.
In an X (formerly Twitter) post, a user shared Sanjeev’s LinkedIn profile, captioning it “Indian Railways for 11 years to now at spacex is some next level stuff”.

He worked at Seagate Technology for around 9 years. He joined there as Staff Mechanical Engineer in 2003 and left the job 9 years later as Senior Engineering Manager.
As per Sanjeev’s LinkedIn Profile, he joined the Structures Group, Dynamics Engineer (SpaceX) in 2013 where he described to have worked on recovery and reuse ability of the first stage booster starting from F9-005 to F9-0059. Led the structural dynamics effort working closely with aerodynamics, GNC, propulsion and thermal. After working in the position for nearly 6 years, he joined Matternet Inc in 2020 before and left as Head of Technology in 2022.
He again joined as Principal Engineer in SpaceX in 2022 at the company’s Los Angeles area in the United States.
Sanjeev’s qualifications, as described in his LinkedIn profile, says, an alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He did his Bachelor’s degree, Mechanical Engineering from Indian Railway Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers.
He did his MS in Management from University of Minnesota between 2007 – 2008. He has a MS, Mechanical Engineering degree from University of Colorado Boulder that he pursued during 2002 – 2003.

The NCP leader and former Maharashtra Minister Siddique was killed after being shot at outside his office in Nirmal Nagar. He sustained two gunshot wounds to his chest before being brought to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital for emergency treatment, where he succumbed to death on Saturday night.
The last rites of Baba Siddique were performed with full state honors in Mumbai at Bada Qabrastan on Sunday.

Abhishek scored 484 runs last season at a strike rate of 204.21 and is one of the leading batsmen of the team.

Reports have also claimed that SRH is also planning to retain Travis Head and Nitish Kumar Reddy. Head and Reddy played important roles for SRH last season also.
When will the retention list be released?
The last date of retention has been fixed by BCCI on 31st October. Before the mega auction for IPL 2025, teams can retain a maximum of 6 players. SRH’s retention list is considered to be almost ready, although no official announcement has been made by the team yet.
Purse of Rs 120 crore, also know the retention slab
A purse of Rs 120 crore has been fixed for each team for IPL 2025. Retention slabs have also been fixed under this purse.
Any team will have to spend Rs 18 crore, Rs 14 crore, and Rs 11 crore for the first three capped retentions, then Rs 18 crore and Rs 14 crore will have to be spent on the next two i.e. 4th and 5th retentions. A maximum of Rs 4 crore will have to be spent on uncapped Indian players.

AIUDF (All India United Democratic Front) Chief Badruddin Ajmal stirred controversy on Wednesday, alleging that the Parliament building and surrounding areas in Delhi, including Vasant Vihar and even the airport, have been built on Waqf property.
