He further said that Congress will be defeated in the upcoming Raipur South by-election and will also be defeated in the Municipal Corporation and three-tier Panchayat elections.

    Regarding declaring former MP Sunil Soni as expected from South, he said – Sunil Soni has been the mayor and is a senior leader. He has also been an MP, a good leader and has been made a candidate from the South Assembly. I congratulate him. In the party, not the candidate, the party contests the elections, the lotus flower contests the elections. Regarding the candidature in BJP party, he said that there is no such thing as rebellion in BJP, there will be many contenders but there is only one candidate. Everyone works wholeheartedly.

    Minister Verma has also given a statement regarding organization elections in BJP. He said that BJP membership campaign is going on. Now a campaign has also started to make active members. There will be re-election for the organization.

    What Happened?

    The incident reportedly took place in the Laxmangarh tehsil of Sikar district. The victim, a college student, initially visited Baba Balknath for spiritual guidance, believing in his knowledge of occult practices. After their first meeting, she returned home, only to receive a phone call from Baba’s driver asking her to visit again. During the second visit, Baba allegedly drugged the student by lacing prasad (sacred food offering) with a sedative.

    According to the victim, Baba assaulted her after she lost consciousness. Disturbingly, a video of Baba engaging in inappropriate behavior with her in a car has surfaced on social media, causing widespread outrage.

    Legal Action Against Baba Balknath

    The victim filed a complaint against Baba Balknath and two other individuals at the Udyog Nagar police station. In her statement, the victim revealed that she had first met Baba through a man named Rajesh, who introduced her to the spiritual leader during a temple visit. During this visit, Baba offered her prasad, claiming it would bring her spiritual welfare. However, the situation took a dark turn when Baba allegedly assaulted her in his car, under the pretext of dropping her home.

    Who is Baba Balknath?

    According to reports, Baba Balknath is a self-proclaimed expert in occult practices and is associated with the Kshetrapal Temple in Laxmangarh, Sikar. He is known to claim that he can solve people’s problems through rituals and spiritual guidance. The victim had approached him with similar hopes but ended up entangled in his alleged schemes.

    What are the Allegations?

    The victim alleges that during one of her visits to the temple, Baba’s driver offered her prasad, stating it would improve her well-being. A few days later, Baba himself offered to drive her home. During the drive, he allegedly gave her sweets, after which she lost consciousness. The victim claims that Baba and his driver took advantage of her and recorded the incident. Baba then allegedly began blackmailing her using the footage. Unable to bear the harassment, she finally approached the police, triggering a major scandal in the region.

    Police Response

    Police officials confirmed that a rape complaint has been registered against Baba Balknath and other individuals involved. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are looking into the claims made by the victim.

  • ‘Hindus Fear For Safety In Canada’, Indian-Origin MP Urges Trudeau’s Action | world news

    Canadian MP Chandra Arya flagged the rising Khalistani extremism in Canada, he voiced concerns over the safety of the Hindu community. He said that the Hindu Community in the country fear for their safety, “I too have experienced these concerns firsthand.” Chandra Arya pressed Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government to recognize the threat to Canadian-Hindu community from Khalistani groups and take action.

    “Last week, I could safely participate in a Hindu event in Edmonton only under the protection of RCMP officers, as a group of Khalistani protesters staged a disruptive demonstration against me,” Arya said in a video posted on ‘X’. The MP stated that Canadians expect their national government to work with countries affected by terrorism and extremism to ensure the safety of its citizens.

    His statement comes at a time when India and Canada are at crossroads over the alleged involvement of Indian diplomats in the assassination of India-designated Khalistani terrorist, Hardeep Singh Nijjar outside a Gurudwara in British Columbia. Trudeau has accused India of collaborating with organized crime elements to carry out ‘violent acts’ against Canadian citizens on their territory. India strongly criticized PM Justin Trudeau’s strategy claiming it to be an act of entertaining ‘vote bank’ dynamics of Canada.

    Arya urged the Hindu-Canadians to be vocal about the issue and suggested that the main cause of this persistence of Canadian Khalistani extremism is rooted in the ‘political patronage’ that these extremists receive. The Canadian MP called for both countries to restart diplomatic talks to solve the problem.

    “Recent revelations and developments are impacting Canada and India’s ability to collaborate on this issue. It is critical that we all recognize the importance of eliminating cross-border threats posed by Khalistani extremism and resume our efforts to address it effectively,” Arya said.

    He further added, “We (Hindu-Canadians) are one of the most educated and successful communities in this country, contributing greatly to Canada’s progress. Yet, our low profile is often mistaken for weakness by politicians.”

    Notably, on October 14, India expelled six Canadian diplomats shortly after summoning Canada’s Charge d’Affaires, Stewart Wheeler. India expressed that the “unfounded targeting” of its High Commissioner and other diplomats in Canada was entirely unacceptable.

  • Shrikant Pangarkar, Accused In Gauri Lankesh Murder, Joins Shiv Sena |

    Shrikant Pangarkar, a former Shiv Sainik and one of the accused in the 2017 assassination of journalist-activist Gauri Lankesh has officially rejoined the Shiv Sena faction led by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Pangarkar was welcomed back into the party on Friday in Jalna by senior party leader and former state minister, Arjun Khotkar. 

    According to Khotkar, Pangarkar is an ex-Shiv Sena member returning to the party fold. He has been appointed as the head of the assembly poll campaign for the Jalna constituency. 

    Khotkar himself expressed a desire to run for the assembly seat in Jalna, although seat-sharing arrangements within the ruling alliance, the Mahayuti (which includes Shiv Sena, BJP, and Ajit Pawar’s NCP faction), are still being negotiated.

    Pangarkar’s Alleged Role in Gauri Lankesh’s Murder

    Gauri Lankesh, a prominent journalist and vocal critic of right-wing extremism, was shot dead outside her residence in Bengaluru on September 5, 2017. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the murder identified Shrikant Pangarkar as a close associate of the prime suspect, Amol Kale. 

    As per the investigation, Kale received orders from men based in Maharashtra to carry out the assassination. Pangarkar was found to have been in contact with Kale both before and after the murder, establishing a possible link to the crime. He was arrested in August 2018 in connection with the case.

    Legal Battles and Bail Grant

    Pangarkar, who had served as a municipal councillor in Jalna under the undivided Shiv Sena between 2001 and 2006, had left the party in 2011 after being denied an election ticket. He subsequently joined the right-wing group, Hindu Janjagruti Samiti. 

    In September 2023, Pangarkar was granted bail by the Karnataka High Court after being in custody for several years due to his alleged involvement in the Lankesh murder case. His release came just a day before the six-year anniversary of Gauri Lankesh’s assassination.

    Other Allegations Against Pangarkar

    Pangarkar was also implicated in a 2018 case involving an arms haul and a conspiracy to attack the Sunburn music festival in Pune. He, along with four other co-accused, faced charges under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), Indian Penal Code (IPC), Explosives Act, and Explosive Substances Act.

    However, the Bombay High Court granted him and his co-accused bail in August 2023, citing insufficient evidence to prove the conspiracy charges.
