NEW DELHI: India and the United Kingdom on Thursday exchanged perspectives and agreed to deepen their cooperation on a variety of problems when it comes to the Commonwealth.
The deliberations happened as a part of the India-UK Commonwealth Discussion on the Director Basic (DG) stage right here, a Ministry of Exterior Affairs remark mentioned.
The Indian delegation was once led by way of Prakash Gupta, Joint Secretary (UN- Political) Department in conjunction with different officers from the Ministry of Exterior Affairs, whilst the United Kingdom delegation was once led by way of Jo Lomas, UK Commonwealth Envoy, and officers from the International, Commonwealth and Building Workplace (FCDO), and the British Top Fee in Delhi.
Either side exchanged perspectives and agreed to deepen their cooperation on a variety of problems when it comes to the Commonwealth, the MEA mentioned.
Additionally they mentioned preparations and end result paperwork to be followed right through the impending Commonwealth Heads of Govt Assembly (CHOGM), to be held in Kigali, Rwanda, within the week starting June 20, 2022, it mentioned.
