NAGPUR: A lady has been arrested together with her spouse for allegedly marrying a couple of males and extorting cash from them, a Nagpur police legit stated on Tuesday.
The accused had been recognized as Bhavika Manwani alias Meghali Dilip Tijare (35) from Wardha and her boyfriend Mayur Raju Motghare (27), the Crime Department legit stated.
“She were given married in 2003, 2013, 2016 and 2021. Her modus operandi used to be to sign in pretend lawsuits towards her husbands after which extort cash from them. She has been held at the grievance of 1 Mahendra Wanwani from Jaripatka, who she married on September 16 ultimate 12 months,” he stated.
She had filed a rape case towards Wanwani and allegedly attempted to extort Rs 4 lakh from him, the legit added.
