USFL Participant Humiliated Opponent With Obscene Gamer Gesture, Enthusiasts Say

“Halo” fanatics accused a USFL participant of the use of an obscene gesture from the online game to humiliate an opponent on Sunday. (Watch the clip under.)

Photos confirmed Antonio Reed of the Tampa Bay Bandits slamming into the top of the New Orleans Breakers’ Mike Stevens and knocking him to the bottom. Reed then sat on Stevens’ head.

Some fanatics tweeted that Reed’s transfer appeared like a model of a “Halo” teabag. Avid gamers of the online game “teabag” every different via dipping the unseen personal portions in their avatars into warring parties they’ve killed.

Whilst Stevens didn’t put as a lot motion into the gesture as is standard in “Halo,” some Twitter customers insisted Reed took a web page out of the online game’s playbook.

The Breakers received 34-3, however Reed’s deficient sportsmanship received some consideration on social media.
