New Delhi, March 7: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta graced the national conference of women intellectuals titled ‘Bharati-Nari se Narayani.’ In her stirring address, she paid homage to the indomitable spirit, courage, and sacrifices of women throughout history.
Gupta bowed in respect to the long-standing struggles of women and the dedicated sisters of the Rashtra Sevika Samiti. ‘Women are not just custodians of tradition; they are architects of societal transformation,’ she declared, captivating the audience with her vision.
Observing the vibrant gathering, the CM noted a profound shift. ‘Earlier events were dominated by men in grey, black, or blue suits. Today, the hall bursts with color, energy, and femininity wherever women lead.’ She celebrated how women’s smiles, resilience, and unique qualities infuse life into communities.
Addressing common challenges, Gupta asserted, ‘Talent knows no gender. A capable woman, armed with skill and determination, is unstoppable.’ She highlighted women’s superior performances across sectors, from politics to professions.
Reflecting on India’s women’s journey, she credited reformers, organizations, and governments. Referencing the RSS centenary film ‘Shatak,’ Gupta praised founder Lakshmibai Kelkar for uniting women, instilling the dual duty to family and nation.
Concluding with deep reverence, the CM saluted the Sevika Samiti sisters for guiding generations toward national service, inspiring a renewed commitment to women’s empowerment.
