In a significant crackdown on narcotics trafficking in Delhi-NCR, the Crime Branch’s WR-II unit of Delhi Police has arrested Krishna Rathore Kana, a key figure in the ganja supply chain. This operation marks a major victory against the drug menace plaguing the region.
Krishna Rathore had been declared a proclaimed offender by the court. The Special Judge (NDPS) at Dwarka District declared him absconding on February 20, 2026, in a case involving the supply of seized ganja. Acting on credible intelligence, Sub-Inspector Kuldeep Singh and his team laid a trap in Uttam Nagar on March 5, leading to Rathore’s capture near Om Vihar Phase-1.
Under the leadership of Inspector Gautam Malik, the team comprising SI Kuldeep Singh, Head Constable Pawan Hooda, Bhavar, Constable Mukesh, and Tinku had been relentlessly pursuing the suspect. Rathore frequently changed his hideouts, making the chase challenging.
During interrogation, Rathore confessed to being part of an organized gang involved in procuring and distributing ganja across Delhi-NCR. Originally from Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, he studied up to Class 10 in a government school before falling into bad company and joining criminal networks. His family has long resided in Uttam Nagar.
Motivated by quick money, Rathore delved into the drug trade. Police have now formed a special team to dismantle his entire network, aiming to uproot the syndicate. This arrest delivers a severe blow to the interstate drug operations, reinforcing Delhi Police’s commitment to curbing narcotics supply in the capital.
