Washington, March 6 – President Donald Trump declared that Iran, reeling from devastating military setbacks, is now desperately seeking talks. Speaking at an event honoring Inter Miami CF’s 2025 MLS championship win, Trump revealed that U.S. and Israeli forces are relentlessly targeting Tehran’s missile and drone capabilities.
Trump painted a picture of swift military dominance. ‘America and our allies are dismantling Iran’s military power at a blistering pace,’ he stated. According to the president, Iran has already initiated contact for negotiations. ‘They’re calling, asking how to make a deal. I told them, you’re a bit late,’ Trump quipped.
The joint operations, he claimed, are exceeding expectations. U.S. and Israeli troops have inflicted massive casualties on Iranian forces. Trump boasted that enemy missile launchers are obliterated within minutes. ‘As soon as they fire a missile, we take out the launcher in under four minutes,’ he said.
Iran’s naval fleet has suffered catastrophic losses, with 24 ships sunk in just three days. The U.S. has also decimated much of Iran’s air defense systems and aviation assets. ‘Their anti-aircraft weapons are gone. No air force, no air defense left,’ Trump asserted. He cited figures showing 60% of Iran’s missile systems and 64% of its launch infrastructure destroyed.
Despite the pressure, Trump extended an olive branch to those inside Iran’s security apparatus. He urged members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, military, and police to lay down arms. He also called on Iranian diplomats abroad to defect and support political change. ‘Seek asylum and help build a new Iran,’ he implored, promising full immunity to collaborators.
Trump warned that non-cooperation guarantees death. He predicted long-term benefits for the region and global energy markets from these actions. ‘Stability will return, oil prices will stabilize, and markets will thrive,’ he forecasted.
These remarks come amid escalated U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran, accused of backing terrorists and pursuing nuclear weapons. Tensions grip the Middle East, threatening vital oil routes and global energy supplies.
