New Delhi is alive with the vibrant spirit of Holi, India’s festival of colors and love, celebrated with immense joy across the country. Amid the bursts of laughter, splashing colors, and sweet delicacies, prominent political leaders have joined the festivities by sharing warm greetings with the public.

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, took to social media platform X to convey his message. ‘Heartfelt Holi greetings to all on this festival of colors and love,’ he posted. ‘May the colors of Holi fill your lives with new hopes, fresh enthusiasm, and countless joys.’

Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi echoed the sentiment, emphasizing unity and togetherness. She wrote, ‘Warm Holi wishes on this grand festival brimming with excitement, joy, sweetness, and brotherhood. Holi is the occasion to embrace family, friends, and society with love. Hug everyone and share happiness with all. May Holi bring prosperity to every citizen!’

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge highlighted the cultural significance of the festival. ‘Holi embodies the soul of our multi-colored, multi-cultural society,’ he stated. ‘It celebrates unity in diversity, mutual harmony, and brotherhood – traditions that have defined our civilization for centuries. On this joyful occasion that bridges distances, heartfelt Holi greetings to all. May your lives always be filled with colors of happiness.’

Joining the chorus, Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal wished, ‘May this festival of colors bring happiness, love, and new energy to your lives. May your lives be filled with joy, peace, and prosperity.’ Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Singh Yadav also extended his greetings to the nation.

As celebrations continue with gujiyas, thandai, and playful water fights, Holi serves as a reminder of love overcoming all barriers, fostering bonds in every corner of India.
