Israel Claims Iran Pressured Hezbollah After Roaring Lion Op

In a stunning revelation, Israeli intelligence has accused Iran of mounting intense pressure on Hezbollah to launch attacks against Israel following the initiation of Operation ‘Roaring Lion.’ This claim comes amid escalating tensions in the region, where Iranian leaders are allegedly desperate to reshape strategic dynamics.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani, spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), senior Iranian officials began exerting heavy influence on Hezbollah’s leadership right from the start of the operation. The goal was clear: force Hezbollah to open fire on IDF positions and target Israeli civilians, thereby diverting pressure from Iranian interests.

Hezbollah’s compliance underscores a troubling allegiance. Instead of prioritizing the safety of Lebanese citizens, the group has once again sided with Tehran, plunging into a conflict it stands little chance of winning. This pattern reveals where Hezbollah’s true loyalties lie—not with the people of Lebanon, but with the Iranian regime.

The fallout was devastatingly evident in Tuesday’s brutal assault on Beit Shemesh, a community about 30 kilometers west of Jerusalem. Multiple homes were obliterated in a ferocious strike that claimed numerous lives, including children. Eyewitnesses described a scene of utter chaos, with entire neighborhoods reduced to rubble in mere seconds.

Shimon Ganon, a resident of Beit Shemesh, recounted the horror: ‘In three or four seconds, everything here was destroyed. The whole house is gone. It feels like a dream, nothing seems real. No one can comprehend what happened.’ Rescue operations continue amid the debris, as officials assess the full extent of the tragedy.

Shoshani had previously condemned Iran, stating, ‘From the outset of Operation Roaring Lion, the Iranian government has been targeting civilians. In their recent attack, they killed several innocents in the Beit Shemesh community. Iran is a terror state.’

This incident not only heightens regional instability but also exposes the proxy dynamics at play, with Hezbollah acting as Iran’s frontline aggressor. As Israel bolsters its defenses, the international community watches closely, aware that further escalation could ignite a broader conflict.
