Patna, March 3: Bihar’s political landscape received a significant boost as BJP national president Nitin Nabin was announced as the party’s Rajya Sabha candidate from the state. Bihar Cabinet Minister Dilip Jaiswal hailed the decision as a moment of pride for the state, emphasizing that having the national leader represent Bihar in the Upper House is a great honor.
In an exclusive conversation, Jaiswal expressed the BJP’s full support for the central leadership’s choice. ‘This is indeed a fortunate development for Bihar,’ he stated, underscoring Nabin’s vast political experience, organizational skills, and unwavering dedication to public service. Jaiswal is confident that Nabin will powerfully amplify Bihar’s voice in Parliament, advancing national and public interests while elevating the state’s prestige.
The minister also extended congratulations to Upendra Kushwaha, nominated as the NDA candidate from Rashtriya Lok Morcha. Jaiswal expressed faith in Kushwaha’s ability to steer NDA’s development agenda forward, contributing effectively to Bihar and the nation’s progress. He wished him robust health and a successful tenure.
Amid the festive spirit of Holi, Jaiswal participated in a grand ‘Holi Milan Samaroh’ organized by BJP’s Patna district unit alongside Nitin Nabin. He warmly greeted dedicated party workers, conveying Holi wishes and highlighting the festival’s message of love, harmony, and unity. ‘Our workers’ loyalty and energy form the true strength of the organization,’ he remarked, extending greetings to all Bihar residents.
BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad echoed the sentiments, expressing immense pride over Nabin’s nomination. He praised Nabin’s organizational and administrative expertise, predicting it would enhance the Rajya Sabha’s dignity and invigorate commitments to the welfare of the last person in line.
