The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced that Thakur needs rest to manage her workload effectively, making her unavailable for the pink-ball Test at Perth’s WACA Stadium. Stepping into her shoes is promising all-rounder Kashvee Gautam, who was part of the recent ODI squad against the hosts.
