Meerut’s commuters have a festive adjustment to make this Holi. On March 4, both Namo Bharat and Meerut Metro services will skip their usual morning runs, kicking off instead at 5 PM sharp and running until 10 PM. This temporary tweak, announced by management, ensures staff and passengers can fully immerse in the vibrant celebrations with family.

The decision reflects the spirit of the festival, prioritizing joy over routine commutes. Trains will operate at regular intervals post-5 PM, minimizing wait times for those heading out later. Officials emphasize planning trips around the revised schedule to avoid any hitches.

Security will be ramped up at stations, with extra cleaning crews on duty to maintain hygiene amid the revelry. No tolerance for unruly elements—strict directives are in place to keep things safe and orderly.

In a welcome bonus amid the festivities, Namo Bharat and Meerut Metro now run daily, every day of the week, from 6 AM to 10 PM. This scraps the old Sunday changes, catering to surging ridership. Daily commuters, professionals, traders, and students stand to gain the most from this seamless service.

Management urges checking official channels for updates. This Holi, travel smart, celebrate safe, and enjoy the expanded metro reliability that promises smoother journeys ahead.
