Patna, March 1: Bihar Minister Ashok Choudhary extended heartfelt birthday wishes to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on his 75th birthday, hailing him as the architect of the state’s remarkable development journey. ‘Nitish Kumar has infused unprecedented strength into Bihar’s growth story and elevated the state’s pride on the national map,’ Choudhary declared during a media interaction.

To mark the occasion, Choudhary organized a blood donation camp that saw enthusiastic participation from party workers and supporters. The event underscored the minister’s commitment to public health initiatives alongside political celebrations.

Emphasizing the importance of regular blood donations, Choudhary urged every individual to donate blood at least once every six months, particularly those with rare blood groups. ‘This simple act can save lives and contribute immensely to society,’ he said, dispelling myths about weakness post-donation.

‘Healthy adults and youth face no health risks from donating blood. On the contrary, it inspires others to join this noble cause,’ he added, addressing common fears.

Choudhary also touched upon the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists in West Bengal, stressing the need for transparency in electoral processes. ‘This is a nation of its citizens, those born here. We must identify infiltrators posing as voters while claiming patriotism,’ he asserted.

Defending the SIR against opposition criticism, the minister clarified that the exercise targets duplicates, double entries, and deceased voters’ names. ‘No legitimate voter’s name is being removed. Invalid entries are being cleaned up methodically. Affected individuals can file objections,’ he reassured, highlighting the Election Commission’s fairness.

As Bihar celebrates its leader’s milestone birthday, Choudhary’s words reflect the ruling alliance’s confidence in Nitish Kumar’s enduring legacy of progress and good governance.
