Tehran erupted in fury following the shocking assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in a coordinated US-Israel airstrike. Top Iranian officials, burning with vengeance, have issued stark warnings to Washington and Jerusalem, promising a retaliation that will pierce the heart of America.

Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and a key advisor to Khamenei, delivered a chilling message. ‘The Americans have stabbed the Iranian people in the heart, and we will stab them in theirs,’ he declared. Larijani vowed that Iran’s military response would be overwhelmingly forceful, emphasizing that the attackers cannot simply strike and flee.

In the power vacuum left by Khamenei’s death, Larijani announced plans for a temporary leadership structure involving the president and judiciary chief to stabilize the nation. While Iran has assured regional allies it seeks no broader conflict, it made clear its intent to target US military bases across the Middle East.

‘This should forever prove that America cannot bully Iran,’ Larijani asserted. Adding to the escalation, former IRGC commander Mohsen Rezaei warned that no US warship would be permitted in the Persian Gulf.

State media confirmed additional high-profile losses: Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh and Armed Forces Chief of Staff, alongside earlier reports of IRGC leader Major General Mohammad Pakpour and Defense Council Secretary Ali Shamkhani. As tensions skyrocket, the world watches whether Iran’s vows will ignite a full-scale regional war.
