Washington, March 1 – Reza Pahlavi, son of Iran’s last Shah and a prominent voice in exile, has boldly proclaimed that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is now ‘wiped from the pages of history.’ In a powerful statement addressed to the Iranian people, Pahlavi asserted that the Islamic Republic is hurtling toward its inevitable collapse.
Labeling Khamenei as ‘the bloodthirsty tyrant of our time,’ Pahlavi accused him of orchestrating the deaths of countless brave Iranians. ‘With his death, the Islamic Republic has effectively ended, and it will soon be consigned to the dustbin of history,’ he declared.
Pahlavi issued a stark warning to regime loyalists: any attempt to install a successor will fail spectacularly. ‘From the outset, every such effort is doomed. Whoever they place in his stead will lack legitimacy and share in the regime’s crimes,’ he said.
Turning to Iran’s military, police, and security forces, Pahlavi urged them to seize this historic moment. ‘This is your last chance to side with the people and guide Iran toward freedom and prosperity. Efforts to prop up a failing regime will crumble.’
While acknowledging that Khamenei’s demise does not erase the spilled blood or deliver full justice, Pahlavi offered solace to grieving families – parents, spouses, and children who have lost loved ones to the regime’s brutality.
Praising Iranians as ‘honorable and courageous,’ he called for vigilance and preparation. ‘This could mark the start of our grand national celebration, but the journey isn’t over. Stay alert. The time for massive, decisive presence on the streets is near. United and strong, we will secure final victory and celebrate Iran’s freedom in our homeland.’
Living in exile in the US for decades, Pahlavi has championed anti-regime protests from afar. He has expressed readiness to return to Tehran as an interim leader to steer the nation toward democracy.
