    Chief Minister Shri Sai inaugurates 200-bed state-of-the-art Shri Balaji Cancer Hospital

    Raipur February 28, 2026// Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today inaugurated a 200-bed state-of-the-art cancer hospital in the Shri Balaji Hospital complex in the capital Raipur. During this, the Chief Minister offered prayers to Lord Balaji and wished for the happiness, prosperity, and health of the state residents. He also inaugurated the newly constructed units of the cancer hospital and took information about the available facilities.
    Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that the expansion of health facilities in Chhattisgarh is a clear proof of the state’s progress and strengthening infrastructure. We are celebrating the silver jubilee year on completing 25 years of state formation, and while there was only one medical college in the state at the time of its formation, 14 to 15 medical colleges have been established in the past years, which is a historic achievement in the health sector. He said that in his two-year tenure, he has inaugurated 5 to 6 new state-of-the-art hospitals, providing better and accessible health services to the common people. Expressing happiness, the Chief Minister said that patients in the cancer hospital will get the benefit of the Ayushman Yojana, which will also reduce their financial difficulties.
    On this occasion, Hospital Director Dr. Tejas Nayak, Managing Director Dr. Neeta Nayak, Shri R. K. Nayak, Smt. Satyavati Nayak, along with hospital management, officials, employees, and the general public were present.
