Hyderabad’s political landscape is buzzing with a new initiative from the Telangana government. In a decisive move to accelerate welfare and development projects, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s administration has constituted a high-powered Cabinet sub-committee. This panel is tasked with crafting and rolling out a comprehensive 99-day action plan across key state departments.

Leading the charge is Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, who also holds portfolios in Finance, Planning, and Energy. The sub-committee boasts heavyweights like Irrigation Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, and Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy. Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao issued the government order formalizing this structure.

The plan, set to kick off on March 2 and run through June 9, aims to inject speed and accountability into governance. During a recent review meeting, the Chief Secretary emphasized the need for swift, transparent, and measurable outcomes from every department. Secretaries have been directed to submit structured action plans without delay.

Upcoming milestones include a secretaries’ review chaired by the Chief Minister on February 28, followed by a district collectors’ conference on March 1. Priority sectors span rural development, urban administration, health, education, agriculture, revenue, tourism, industries, women and child welfare, housing, energy, and labor. Special focus will be on sanitation drives, rural infrastructure upgrades, healthcare expansion, and seamless delivery of welfare schemes.

This ambitious timeline underscores the government’s commitment to translating promises into ground-level progress. Officials are gearing up to inaugurate completed government buildings and fast-track pending projects from files to fields. As Telangana pushes for rapid transformation, this 99-day sprint could set a new benchmark for efficient administration in the state.
