The Khelo India Centre at Rajouri Sports Stadium stands as a beacon for aspiring boxers aged 8 to 18. Fully equipped with professional coaches, the facility offers rigorous training that hones skills and builds champions. What was once a district overlooked in sports is now emerging as a boxing powerhouse.
Mohammad Toaid Khan, a dedicated trainee, shared his gratitude with enthusiasm. ‘The coaches here are top-notch, guiding us every step of the way. I owe my confidence to PM Modi for creating this incredible platform that empowers us to compete fearlessly,’ he said.
Echoing similar sentiments, Mohammad Yasir, who clinched a national gold in 2025, highlighted the centre’s impact. Established in 2022, it has already produced medal winners. ‘I’m thankful to my coaches and this centre for giving me the stage to shine nationally,’ Yasir added.
