Greater Noida is set to transform into a vibrant floral paradise from February 26 to March 1. The grand flower exhibition at Samrat Mihir Bhoj Park, also known as City Park, promises an unforgettable blend of nature’s beauty and cultural festivities. Preparations are in full swing under the directives of Greater Noida Authority CEO NG Ravi Kumar, ensuring a spectacular four-day event.
This year’s highlight is the stunning floral installations that capture the imagination. Visitors will be mesmerized by a tableau depicting ‘Operation Sindoor,’ where India Mata receives a sacred tilak on her forehead. Life-like representations of the national bird peacock, majestic lions, and heart-shaped designs will steal the show. Over 100,000 seasonal flowers, themed around Calendula, will fill the air with fragrance and color.
The beauty extends beyond the park. Calendula plants adorn 40 roundabouts, 45 green areas, and 17 central verges across key city routes, now bursting into full bloom. For the first time, a mesmerizing drone show will light up the night sky, combining technology with tradition.
Modern innovations like AI and robotics exhibits will add a futuristic touch. Local students get a platform to shine through dance, music, poetry recitals, and street plays promoting environmental conservation and waste recycling. Food stalls will cater to families, making it a complete outing.
Park fountains have been restored, and intricate structures are being finalized. Entry is free, welcoming everyone from kids to seniors. ACEO Shrilakshmi VS assures seamless arrangements and emphasizes public participation for success. This event isn’t just a display—it’s a celebration of community and creativity.
