DHANBAD: Despite repeated warnings from police, panic over child kidnapping rumors continues to grip Dhanbad. On Wednesday, a frenzied mob in East Busuriya OP area unleashed brutality on three innocent women near Nichani Bridge, mistaking them for child lifters. The violence escalated to the point where even a police vehicle came under attack with slippers and shoes.
The incident unfolded rapidly at Nichani Bridge when whispers of child theft spread like wildfire. Within minutes, a large crowd gathered, grabbed the three women, and began a savage assault using fists, kicks, and footwear. Screams echoed as the mob vented its irrational fury.
