Budget will give new momentum to the state’s development: Chief Minister Mr. Sai
Raipur February 24, 2026/Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai extended his best wishes to the people of the state, calling the state budget being presented for the financial year 2026-27 an important step towards the overall development of the state. He said that this third budget of our government, which is going to be presented in the new assembly building, will provide new strength to the government’s vision for building a developed and prosperous Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that this budget of the state government will further the resolve for inclusive development, good governance, and public welfare. He expressed confidence that this budget will play a significant role in strengthening the state’s economy and bringing about positive changes in the living standards of the common people.
The Chief Minister said that keeping the national goal of Developed India 2047 of Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi Ji at its core, the Chhattisgarh government is continuously working towards building a developed Chhattisgarh. The government has given the highest priority to the empowerment of farmers, the poor, the youth, mothers, and the tribal community. Various schemes of the state government are being implemented with the objective of ensuring that the benefits of development reach the last person in society.
Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that he has full confidence that this budget for the financial year 2026-27 will provide a strong foundation to the state’s “Good Governance to Prosperity” model and further accelerate the pace of development. This budget will give a new direction to the state’s infrastructure, employment generation, agricultural development, social security, and human resource development.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is firm on its resolve to build a developed Chhattisgarh, and this budget will prove to be a milestone in that direction. He expressed confidence that with this budget, the state will enter a new era of self-reliance, economic progress, and prosperity.
