In a thrilling post-series shake-up, Indian pacer Arundhati Reddy has rocketed five spots to claim her career-best 11th position in the ICC T20I bowling rankings. This surge comes hot on the heels of India’s gritty 2-1 victory over Australia in their recent T20I series, where Reddy dismantled the opposition with a haul of eight wickets across three matches.

Reddy set the tone in the opener, ripping through Australia’s top order with 4-22, a spell that left fans buzzing. She followed it up with 2-30 in the second game and capped off her dominance with 2-35 in the decider. Her relentless accuracy and pace earned her this lofty ranking, marking a personal milestone in her burgeoning international career.

Not to be outdone, India’s Shri Charani leaped an astonishing 11 places to 26th in the bowlers’ list. Charani’s five-wicket bounty in the series underscored her potential as a rising star in the shorter format.

Australia’s camp also celebrated gains. Annabel Sutherland climbed two rungs to second overall, her all-round prowess shining through. Ashley Gardner advanced to 18th in bowling and surged to third among T20I all-rounders. Meanwhile, young guns Georgia Wareham vaulted 26 spots to 10th in batting, joined there by India’s Jemimah Rodrigues, who nudged up one place. Phoebe Litchfield isn’t far behind at 12th after a four-place jump.

Pakistan’s Sadia Iqbal holds firm at the top of bowling, but the series ripple effects have reshaped the charts. Over in ODIs, South Africa’s Sune Luus rose four spots to 30th in batting and five to 17th in all-rounders. Marizanne Kapp hit second in all-rounders, Nonkululeko Mlaba reached ninth in bowling, and West Indies’ Karishma Ramharack climbed to 26th.

These rankings reflect dynamic performances that could influence upcoming tournaments, spotlighting talents ready to dominate global cricket.
