Patna, February 24: In a sharp rebuke, Bihar Minister Ashok Chaudhary has accused the Indian Youth Congress of orchestrating a deliberate scheme to damage India’s international reputation during the AI Summit protest. The remarks came in response to the Delhi Police’s arrest of Youth Congress National President Uday Bhanu Chib, linked to the controversial demonstration.
Chaudhary minced no words, stating that the protest at the high-profile AI Summit was not just objectionable but a calculated move to undermine the nation’s image on a global stage. ‘This was a conspiracy to tarnish India’s standing worldwide,’ he asserted. Emphasizing organizational responsibility, the minister pointed out that as president, Chib bears accountability for controlling his group’s actions, even if individuals acted independently.
The court will ultimately decide Chib’s direct involvement, Chaudhary noted, but the protest’s nature—deemed anti-national—demands scrutiny. RLM MLA Madhav Anand echoed these sentiments, questioning who truly directed the Youth Congress chief. ‘No such move happens without high command approval,’ Anand claimed, implicating Congress leadership and even Rahul Gandhi as the alleged mastermind.
Anand criticized Congress MP Imran Masood’s claims of community targeting, defending Bihar CM Nitish Kumar’s governance as fair and impartial. ‘In India, everyone lives in harmony; no one is framed,’ he said. The leaders urged strict action against all involved, regardless of stature, to protect the country’s honor.
This episode highlights deepening political divides, with the BJP-RJD alliance accusing opposition parties of sabotaging national interests for political gain. As investigations proceed, the fallout could reshape youth wing dynamics ahead of key elections.
