Tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan have escalated dramatically along their volatile border. In a shocking development, Pakistan launched a major air strike on Afghan territory, targeting residential areas in Nangarhar and Paktika provinces. The assault claimed numerous civilian lives, including women and children, after strikes hit a madrasa and several homes.

The Baloch National Movement (BNM) has issued a fierce condemnation of Pakistan’s actions, labeling them a direct assault on Afghan sovereignty and regional independence. Coming swiftly after Afghanistan’s defense ministry highlighted the civilian toll, BNM’s statement underscores growing outrage.

According to reports, the strikes caused widespread devastation, leaving families shattered and communities in mourning. BNM expressed deep solidarity with the affected Afghan families, reaffirming support for Afghanistan’s right to self-defense and freedom.

‘For 79 years, Pakistan’s policies have fueled instability in the region, driven by overt and covert expansionist ambitions,’ BNM declared. The group accuses Pakistan of occupying Balochistan and subjugating it under Punjabi dominance, forcing suppressed nations to fight for their existence.

Pakistan, BNM argues, is crumbling politically and socially, yet it blames neighbors for its failures, perpetuating conflict. The military’s oppressive tactics against internal dissent have only deepened the crisis, they claim.

Warning that Pakistan’s military poses a clear threat beyond the region, BNM calls for unity between Afghanistan and Balochistan to counter this danger. As border clashes persist despite past ceasefires, the path to peace remains fraught.
