New Delhi buzzes with political heat after a Karnataka MLA sparked controversy over the launch of a helicopter manufacturing unit by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. BJP MP Manan Kumar Mishra has sharply criticized the MLA’s remarks, calling them deplorable and a reflection of poor mindset.

The event, meant to boost industrial growth in the state, has instead become a flashpoint. Mishra hailed the initiative as a matter of pride for Karnataka and India, promising thousands of jobs and advancing the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision. ‘Such projects will propel not just the state but the entire nation forward,’ he told reporters.

Dismissing the MLA’s alleged threat to cut power supply to the unit, Mishra labeled it ‘utterly shameful.’ This comes amid heightened political rhetoric in the region, with the BJP pushing its development agenda.

Shifting gears, Mishra praised PM Modi’s emotional letter to West Bengal voters, saying it captures public sentiment. He accused the TMC government under Mamata Banerjee of failing on law and order, predicting a BJP victory in the state.

On JNU clashes between ABVP and left-wing students, Mishra called it unfortunate, urging government action against rising leftist activities on campus.

Responding to Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin’s jabs at PM Modi, Mishra asserted that Indians love, not fear, the Prime Minister, evidenced by his third term. He foresaw NDA gains in Tamil Nadu.

Finally, on Congress workers disrupting an AI summit, Mishra echoed Margaret Alva’s condemnation, stressing such acts undermine national achievements. The summit marks a milestone for India’s tech future.
