Bhopal, February 22: Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio program as a beacon of positive transformation and public participation in nation-building. Addressing trainee police officers and newly recruited constables at the Madhya Pradesh Police Academy ahead of the program’s broadcast, Patel emphasized that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ transcends a mere radio show.

It serves as a powerful platform showcasing inspirational stories from across India, highlighting individuals who overcome challenges to contribute to society through dedication and public service. The governor noted how these narratives can inspire police personnel to embrace greater sensitivity toward their duties.

Patel urged the trainees to listen regularly, drawing motivation from shared experiences rather than viewing it as a routine event. He stressed the critical role of training in shaping their future careers, reminding them that the uniform symbolizes not just authority but a commitment to serving the most vulnerable.

Police must strive to earn public trust, reflecting professionalism and empathy in their conduct, Patel asserted. Stories of social initiatives from ‘Mann Ki Baat’ demonstrate how individual efforts lead to broader societal change. He encouraged maintaining discipline, courtesy, and promptness so citizens feel secure approaching law enforcers.

The governor motivated trainees to integrate the program’s messages into their professional and personal lives, expressing confidence in their ability to uphold public service values and strengthen the police force.
