Lucknow, February 22. Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati issued a clarion call to her party’s workers during an all-India meeting on Sunday, urging them to fortify the organization at the grassroots level, expand its support base across all sections of society, and bolster financial contributions.

In the face of current political turbulence, recent parliamentary clashes, and mounting public grievances across India, Mayawati stressed the urgent need for a conducive political environment to safeguard Bahujan interests. ‘As BSP strengthens, our adversaries’ conspiracies will intensify,’ she declared. ‘Our missionary cadres must confront these head-on and march forward to seize the ‘master key’ of power.’

Reviewing progress on directives from the previous national meeting held in New Delhi on December 19, 2025, Mayawati emphasized relentless organizational drive. She highlighted how millions in various states look to BSP to advance Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s mission of Bahujan self-respect and dignity.

Recalling BSP’s governance in Uttar Pradesh, she pointed to landmark achievements in social transformation and economic empowerment under the motto ‘Sarvajan Hitay, Sarvajan Sukhay’ – welfare and happiness for all – while upholding the rule of law.

Mayawati lambasted opposition parties and their governments for anti-poor, anti-farmer, and anti-Bahujan policies, noting their growing loss of credibility due to the gap between rhetoric and action. BSP, she asserted, must emerge as the fresh hope in politics, cautioning against those exploiting Bahujan upliftment for personal gain.

She warned against former party members who rose through BSP but later defected, insisting they cannot be true well-wishers of society. Cadres must remain vigilant against such elements and the parties sheltering them.

Proudly distancing BSP from electoral bonds or trust-based funding, Mayawati underscored that her party relies solely on supporter contributions. True political integrity is essential to realize the Constitution’s welfare objectives, she added.

Turning to global concerns, Mayawati expressed alarm over prospective trade deals, especially with the United States, amid rising domestic worries. In a world gripped by ‘first’ competitions disrupting global order, she said the central government bears a heavy responsibility to protect farmers and Bahujans.
