Chief Minister’s presence among them made the children’s faces light up: Birthday became memorable

Raipur February 21, 2026/Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai celebrated his 62nd birthday with such affection and warmth among the children of Balak Ashram in Bagia, Jashpur, that it made this day an unforgettable memory in the children’s lives. As soon as the Chief Minister reached the ashram premises, a spark of joy lit up the children’s faces. They ran towards him, and within moments, the entire atmosphere became like a family reunion. At that moment, the Chief Minister did not appear as a person holding a position, but as the children’s own affectionate guardian among them.

Chief Minister Shri Sai cut the cake with the children and sat and talked with them. He asked the children’s names, learned about their studies, listened to their dreams, and encouraged them to move forward. As the Chief Minister spoke to the children, the affection and closeness reflected on his face instilled deep confidence in the children’s minds. The children also interacted with him with great ease, chirping with joy.

The scene at the ashram premises at that time felt like a celebration within a family. Chief Minister Shri Sai fed cake and chocolates to the children with his own hands. He blessed the children by patting their heads and said that they should study diligently, dream big, and make their family and the state proud by achieving success in life. He said, “The smiles of all you children are the biggest gift on my birthday.” His affectionate words touched the hearts of the children. The sparkle in the children’s eyes and the smiles on their faces testified to how special this moment had become for them.
The happiness and affection the children experienced by having an affectionate guardian among them as Chief Minister will remain in their memories for a long time.

It is noteworthy that students from class one to five are studying at Balak Ashram Bagia, most of whom belong to the tribal community. The Chief Minister’s visit and birthday celebration among them became a special moment of pride and inspiration for the children.

On this occasion, MLA Mrs. Gomti Sai, Commissioner Shri Narendra Dugga, IG Shri Deepak Kumar Jha, Collector Shri Rohit Vyas, Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Lal Umed Singh, along with local public representatives, officials, and the teachers and staff of the ashram were present.
