Gautam Buddh Nagar district is gearing up for a crucial voter registration push this Sunday, February 22. As part of the Election Commission’s intensive revision program, a special campaign day will help citizens add names, make corrections, or verify details in the electoral rolls.
District Magistrate and Election Officer announced that this final drive follows three successful sessions held on January 11, 18, and 31. The goal is a flawless voter list ahead of upcoming elections, ensuring every eligible resident is registered.
At every polling station, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will be available from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. They’ll have the draft voter list published on January 6, along with Forms 6, 6A, 7, and 8 for additions, deletions, corrections, and transpositions. Help desks will assist with form filling, making the process smooth for all.
Political party agents, councilors, gram pradhans, and volunteers will lend support to maximize outreach. Supervisors, including the Deputy Election Officer and registration officials, will monitor progress across the district.
Officials urge all eligible voters to visit their polling booths on February 22. Check your name, your family’s, and take action if needed. This is your chance to secure your democratic voice—don’t miss it.
With voter turnout critical in shaping India’s future, this campaign underscores the administration’s commitment to inclusive elections. Stay informed and participate actively.
