In a shocking crime that has stunned Ranchi, Jharkhand’s capital, a wife has been arrested for orchestrating her husband’s murder with the help of her lover and hired killers. Vijay Lohra, a resident of Husiir village in Ranchi district, became the victim of this cold-blooded plot hatched by his wife, Neetu Devi.
Police investigations reveal that Neetu was involved in an illicit affair with a young man. When Vijay discovered the relationship, he strongly opposed it, which enraged Neetu and her lover. Unable to tolerate his interference, they conspired to eliminate him by hiring contract killers.
On February 10, the meticulously planned operation unfolded. Vijay was lured into a car and abducted. He was then brutally murdered, and his body was dumped in a secluded spot on the service road near Ring Road in Hesal, under Angara police station limits. The remote location was chosen deliberately to delay identification and investigation.
The body was soon discovered, prompting a swift police response. Using technical evidence and interrogations, officers unraveled the entire conspiracy, leading to Neetu’s arrest. Raids are ongoing to nab her lover and the shooters.
Authorities expect full details, including the contract amount and other involved parties, to emerge once all suspects are in custody. This case echoes a previous horrific incident in Ranchi, where a married woman and her husband killed her lover, mutilating his body before dumping it in a river. Police acted quickly there too, arresting the prime accused.
