New Delhi erupted in chaos on Friday as Youth Congress activists stormed the India AI Impact Summit at Bharat Mandapam. In a bold display of dissent, the protesters stripped off their T-shirts and chanted ‘PM is Compromised’ slogans, catching dignitaries off guard.

The high-profile event, attended by industry leaders, government officials, and international delegates, suddenly turned tense. As speakers addressed the crowd on artificial intelligence’s future, the activists made their move, turning the polished conference into a flashpoint of political outrage.

Security forces swiftly intervened, detaining several protesters and escorting them away from the venue. The disruption lasted only minutes but sent ripples through the gathering, highlighting deep youth frustrations with national leadership.

Youth Congress National President Uday Bhanu Chib defended the action, stating to reporters, ‘These chants aren’t just from our anger; they represent the fury of India’s entire youth.’ He emphasized that the protest was a call to address perceived compromises in governance.

Additional DCP Anand Mishra confirmed the detentions, assuring that legal proceedings were underway. ‘We acted immediately to maintain order at this important international event,’ he said.

On social media, Youth Congress posted a fiery statement: ‘Behind the AI summit’s glamour, real issues can’t be buried. When corporate interests trump national good and foreign policy shows weakness, protest becomes duty.’ The post rallied support for their ‘brave workers’ who raised voices against a ‘compromised PM.’

This incident underscores growing political tensions ahead of key policy discussions, with youth activism poised to challenge the status quo. As India pushes AI innovation, such protests remind stakeholders of the human element in technological progress.
