    New Delhi buzzed with innovation on Friday as Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted a pivotal roundtable at his official residence, ‘Seva Tirth’. Sixteen trailblazing CEOs and founders from AI and deep tech startups gathered to showcase their groundbreaking work, emphasizing solutions tailored for India’s unique challenges.

    The startups spanned a wide array of critical sectors including healthcare, agriculture, cybersecurity, space technology, and social empowerment. According to an official statement from the PMO, these innovators are tackling population-scale problems head-on. In healthcare, AI-driven diagnostics, gene therapy advancements, and streamlined patient record management are bringing quality care to remote corners of the nation.

    Agriculture got a special spotlight, with startups leveraging geospatial intelligence and underwater monitoring to boost crop yields and mitigate climate risks. Discussions delved into cybersecurity fortifications, ethical AI frameworks, space innovations, judicial reforms, and education accessible in local languages.

    Prime Minister Modi praised the entrepreneurs for their impressive innovations and urged them to prioritize solutions aligned with India’s specific needs. He highlighted AI’s transformative potential in agriculture and environmental conservation, from monitoring soil health and fertilizer use to enhancing crop productivity.

    The conversation extended to promoting Indian languages and culture through AI tools, particularly for higher education in mother tongues. Attendees included leaders from Abridge, Adalat AI, Brainsite AI, Credo AI, Eka Care, Gleen, Inogal, Invideo, Miko, Origin, Prophase, Rassen, Rubric, SatSure, Supernova, and Sypha AI.

    Senior officials present were Principal Secretary P.K. Mishra, Principal Secretary-2 Shaktikanta Das, and Minister of State Jitin Prasada. This meeting underscores India’s ambition to lead global AI-driven innovation while addressing local imperatives, fostering an ecosystem that blends cutting-edge tech with grassroots impact.
