In a bold proclamation ahead of his party’s major rally, Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister and Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SuhelSamajwadi Party) chief OP Rajbhar has asserted that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will triumph in the upcoming elections in Azamgarh, long considered a bastion of the Samajwadi Party (SP).

Rajbhar is set to hold a grand show of strength in Azamgarh on February 22, marking the official launch of his party’s election campaign. Speaking exclusively, he revealed that over 10,000 prominent Brahmins, along with members from various other communities, will participate in the event. ‘This rally will sound the electoral bugle for SuhelSamajwadi Party,’ he declared confidently.

Dismissing SP’s claims over Azamgarh, Rajbhar stated, ‘They call it their fortress, but come February 22, everyone will see the reality. The NDA will win all assembly seats here in the next polls.’ He lambasted past SP regimes for promoting dominance of a single caste across jobs, police stations, and governance, which he said alienated the public.

On opposition protests against the SIR process, Rajbhar accused them of hypocrisy, claiming they publicly oppose it while deploying workers at the booth level to engage with it. ‘It’s mere posturing to mask their defeats,’ he added, predicting similar tactics in states like Bihar, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Assam.

Addressing the Jabalpur stone-pelting incident, he condemned disruptive elements aiming to incite riots and tarnish the government. Regarding Rahul Gandhi’s court appearance in Sultanpur, Rajbhar noted it’s a court order that must be followed.

As political temperatures rise in Uttar Pradesh, Rajbhar’s rally could signal shifting winds in a key battleground, challenging entrenched narratives and setting the stage for intense electoral contests.
