In a stunning display of talent, 15-year-old Jasmine Kaur from Fatehgarh Sahib clinched the top spot in the girls’ under-15 shot put event at the ongoing Kila Raipur Sports Games in Ludhiana. Jasmine, who has previously shone at the under-14 National Games, arrived at the village sports festival specifically for the shot put competition. Speaking after her victory, she revealed the fierce competition she faced. ‘I didn’t expect the rivalry to be this intense,’ she said, praising her fellow athletes’ performances. The Kila Raipur Sports Games, a beloved rural sports extravaganza, kicked off on February 17 and will conclude on February 19.
