DEHRADUN: In a significant organizational meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held as part of the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Training Mahabhibyan here on Tuesday, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami emphasized that the BJP is not merely a platform for gaining power but a dedicated instrument for nation-building.
The event saw participation from party workers, office-bearers, and senior leaders across the state, including the Chief Minister himself. Addressing reporters after the workshop, Dhami highlighted the comprehensive training sessions conducted for BJP cadres from the state level down to booth and Shakti Kendra levels.
“Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our party is scripting new chapters in history through unprecedented development initiatives,” Dhami stated. He elaborated that these training programs are rooted in the BJP’s ideological foundation, ensuring workers remain committed to societal service.
Dhami announced that similar workshops would now extend to district and mandal levels, led by experienced party veterans. “Our trained leaders will impart knowledge to grassroots workers, enabling them to serve society more effectively with greater dedication,” he added.
Shifting focus to tourism, the Chief Minister discussed preparations for the upcoming Char Dham Yatra in 2026. “This pilgrimage is our lifeline. Preparations began immediately after the 2025 Yatra concluded. With temple doors set to open soon, continuous meetings are underway to make next year’s event safer, smoother, and more memorable,” Dhami assured.
Prioritizing pilgrim safety, he noted collaborations with all stakeholders to ensure a successful yatra based on past experiences.
On social media platform X, Dhami posted: “BJP is a worker-driven organization where politics is not about seizing power but a resolve for nation-building. Under PM Modi’s guidance, we are firmly advancing towards a developed India through service, good governance, and upliftment of the last person.”
He further shared that the meeting deliberated on strengthening the organization to make it more disciplined and result-oriented. Organization General Secretary Ajay Kumar and other leaders were present.
