NOIDA: The Uttar Pradesh Board high school and intermediate examinations kicked off today across Gautam Buddh Nagar district under tight security measures. A massive 62,000 students are appearing for the exams at 56 designated centers spread across Noida and Greater Noida.
Authorities have pulled out all stops to ensure a cheating-free and transparent process. Every center is manned by police personnel, with CCTV and night vision cameras monitoring question paper storage in strong rooms around the clock. From distribution to collection of answer sheets, every step is being videographed meticulously.
Students arrived early, forming long queues outside centers. Rigorous checks at entry points required admit cards and ID proofs, while mobiles, electronic gadgets, and unauthorized materials were strictly banned.
Sector magistrates, static magistrates, and flying squads are conducting round-the-clock inspections. PAC personnel reinforce local police at sensitive spots. Officials emphasize that maintaining exam sanctity is paramount, with zero tolerance for lapses.
With robust arrangements in place, the administration is confident of smooth conduct through the exam season, allowing students to focus solely on their performance.
