Bhopal witnessed a significant step towards digital governance on Monday as Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated the Cyber Registration Office at the Registration Bhawan. This move underscores the Madhya Pradesh government’s commitment to transparency, efficiency, and public welfare alongside rapid development.
Addressing the gathering after the inauguration, CM Yadav emphasized the state’s push for paperless and cashless processes. ‘These initiatives are crucial for environmental sustainability and ensuring transparency for future generations,’ he stated. Madhya Pradesh has now pioneered as India’s first state to introduce cyber registration for over 75 services, including loans, power of attorney, mining leases, affidavits, and partnership deeds.
The launch follows the successful rollout of Sampada 1.0 and Sampada 2.0 online portals, marking a new era in technology-driven administration. CM Yadav announced that transfer documents related to government departments and their enterprises will now be registered in a fully paperless manner.
Citizens dealing with housing boards and development authorities no longer need to visit registration offices. All processes, including video KYC, will be handled via video conferencing, saving both time and money. ‘This will streamline operations and reduce bureaucratic hurdles,’ the Chief Minister added.
Urging departmental officers to embrace cyber registration for healthy competition, Yadav called for achieving the current financial year’s targets efficiently. Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Jagdish Devda highlighted that advanced software Sampada 2.0 for document registration and e-stamping was implemented in 2024-25.
This initiative is poised to revolutionize property registration in Madhya Pradesh, making it faster, more secure, and accessible to all. As the state embraces digital transformation, residents can expect a more responsive and modern administrative system.
