In a tragic incident that has shaken Rajasthan, a massive fire erupted at a factory in the Khushkheda industrial area of Bhiwadi, claiming several lives. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed profound grief over the loss and immediately announced financial assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Posting on social media platform X, CM Sharma described the event as heart-wrenching. ‘The fire in the Bhiwadi Khushkheda industrial area factory resulting in loss of lives is extremely painful,’ he stated. He directed authorities to provide Rs 3 lakh each to the families of the deceased and ensure all possible help to the affected.
Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari also conveyed her condolences, praying for the departed souls and strength for the bereaved families. She wished speedy recovery for the injured.
The opposition Congress has criticized the government, pointing to recurring accidents. Leader Sachin Pilot offered sympathies but urged the state to implement strict safety measures to prevent future tragedies. Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasra accused the BJP government of lapses in safety standards and monitoring.
